ORIGINAL POSTING: 12/05/2013: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed price construction contract to DEMOLISH VASI/INSTALL PAPI ON RUNWAY 03 AND RELOCATE LOCALIZER ON RUNWAY 21 AT POCATELLO REGIONAL AIRPORT IN POCATELLO, IDAHO -Type of Contract: Firm, Fixed Price. -Davis Bacon Act wage rates apply. -Estimated value: $250,000 to $500,000. -OPTIONAL site visit: December 18, 2013 (see below). -Offers due: January 10, 2014. -NAICS Code: 237130 This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside. Small businesses competing for this acquisition shall certify their status on the Business Declaration form inserted following Part IV, Section K. See Contract clauses 3.6.1-1 in Part II, Section I. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237130. Please note this code on your Business Declaration Form. DETAILS FOR ATTENDING THE OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There is one coordinated OPTIONAL site visit on DECEMBER 18, 2013 at 10:00am LOCAL TIME. a. The meeting point for the site visit: Pocatello Regional Airport 1950 Airport Way Pocatello, ID 83204 The meeting point will be the local SSC office near the base of the Air Traffic Control Tower. To attend the site visit, advance notice by e-mail is required by DECEMBER 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM PACIFIC TIME ZONE to the FAA POC identified just below.
