- Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 253(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Research Service (ARS), National Agricultural Library (NAL), intends to award a one year sole source requirement to the Oxford University Press for access via the Internet for all USDA users for selected Oxford University Press Journals. This access will include perpetual data rights to the content that is made available to USDA during performance period. The Contractor shall provide, upon termination of the contract and upon a request from USDA, all subscribed to database content in a manually agreed upon non propriety format. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This notice is for information purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Potential sources who believe they can provide the service identified above are invited to submit substantiating documentation, in writing, to the identified point of contact below. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephonic communications will be accepted in response to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. NAICS Code is 519130.
