- ******PLEASE COORDINATE WITH SABRINA PEARSON, ONLY, IN WRITING AT SABRINA.M.PEARSON@NASA.GOV OR FAX (256) 961-9604, FOR QUOTE OR TECHNICAL CONCERNS, CONTACT INFORMATION IS IN THE BODY OF THIS SOLICITATION****** NASA/MSFC has a requirement for Hardware Maintenance of the ImaGen Systems, QLogic QLE2462, Dual Ports and RCIM III GPS Antenna. NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the Hardware Maintenance from Concurrent Computer Corporation (CCC). CCC provides the Integrated Avionics Test Facilities (IATF) labs with systems utilizing their proprietary RedHawk Linux real-time operating system and all peripheral I/O devices and associated software. CCC provides the certification for the systems and the peripheral I/O devices testing and integrating in-house to guarantee real-time performance that meets the IATFs specific requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Sabrina Pearson at sabrina.m.pearson@nasa.gov or fax to (256)961-9604 no later than 4:30 p.m. local time on December 26, 2013. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
