Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with AAI Corporation 124 Industry Lane Hunt Valley, MD 21030-3342 for the evaluation, repair, and calibration of the Remote Measurement Unit (RMU) P/N 37534-40035-02 part of the AN/USM-670 Joint Service Electronic Combat Systems Tester (JSECST) S/N 000388. The proposed action is for a firm fixed price service for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this commodity or equal service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The requirement will be released as a non-commercial requirement under FAR Part 13.
