- Description
- The Department of Transportation, United States Merchant Marine Academy Kings Point, NY, has a requirement to provide off-campus laundry service to 800 USMMA students. Contractor shall provide wash and fold services and all necessary equipment for Midshipmen to include qualified staff. The contract period will be for 5 months from the date of contract award with four (4) 12-month renewal option year - to be exercised at the discretion of the government. NAICS Code 812320 applies with a size standard of $5.0 Million. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 13 and 15. The solicitation document will be available on or about Wednesday December 18, 2013. A deadline for solicitation questions will be provided. All questions shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer prior January 2,2014. The Government will make a reasonable attempt to respond to questions received after January 2, 2014. All questions shall be submitted, in writing, to the Contracting Officer, by email to Katina.barham@dot.gov and bruce.markman@dot.gov. with the solicitation number in the subject line. Telephone inquiries and requests shall not be honored. All responses to questions shall be posted via amendment to FBO.
