Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Line Item 0001, Quantity 2: Common Electrical Hull Penetrator Dip Loop Cable Assembly manufactured in accordance with Government drawings and specifications. This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13. NAICS Code 334417, size standard 500 employees. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order is anticipated. Required delivery is 6 months ARO, F.O.B. destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis. The awardee must be a NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-020 certified facility. The offeror shall provide NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-020 certification. NOTE: The drawings will not be exhibited on our website due to restricted distribution statements. To receive a copy of the drawings, a company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Contractors may visit the following website to learn more about obtaining JCP certification: https://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/default.aspx. To obtain a copy of the drawing, send an e-mail request to Debra Geary at debra.geary@navy.mil. Your request must include your company's complete address, Cage Code, DUNS number and JCP Certification number as well as point of contact and phone number. The anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-14-Q-0563 is on or about 8 January 2014. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFP. The Government intends to award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value, considering price, past performance and technical factors. The specific evaluation criteria will be outlined in the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) ( https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ ) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS.gov website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for monitoring the site for any amendments.
