- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-71. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under the NAICS Code 424720, which small business size standard is 100 employees. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM)prior to receiving a government contract. SAM can be accessed at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ 15W40 HD Lube Oil 60-55 gal drums Supply sixty (60) 55 gallon drums full of 15 W 40 HD Lube Oil. The Lube Oil must meet API-CI-4 and Caterpillar Engine Requirements ECP-1 (Caterpillar Engine Crank Case Fluid-1 For Diesel Engine Lubricants that provide Soot Dispersion, Wear Control and Piston Deposit Control). Purchaser will not pay a deposit on drums. Final inspection shall be made by a representative of the Contraction Officer within 10 calendar days after delivery of the lube oil. When delivery and inspection have been satisfactorily completed and the lube oils are found to be in conformity with specifications and the contractor has supplied documentation to prove that the oil meets the requirements; it will be formally accepted by the Contracting Officer for and in behalf of the Government. All materials must be delivered no later than 30January2013. The price indicated includes the cost of transportation from the point of origin to the place of delivery as set forth in the following paragraph and shipment hereunder shall be prepaid and made at the Contractor's expense. Title will pass to the Government after inspection and acceptance by the Government at destination. The Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer at least five (5) days in advance of shipment to be made on this contract and on date of shipment, copies of bills of lading and packing list shall be forwarded to the address indicated below. The item(s) supplied under this contract shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination to: Department of the Army St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers Service Base Foot of Arsenal Street St. Louis, Missouri 63118-3394 Technical questions should be addressed to Joel Asunskis at 314-865-3606 Contractual questions should be addressed to Kathy Souders at 314-331-8502 Deliveries are accepted Monday - Thursday, 0600 - 1630. FAR Clause 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial is hereby incorporated and made a part of this request for quotaiton. Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation is hereby incorporated and made a part of this request for quotation. Award will be made to the lowest responsive responsible offeror complying with the requirements and deemed to be in the best interest of the government. Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items is hereby incorporated. Contractor must furnish a completed copy of the the reps and certs of clause with their bid.
