Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is hereby issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) VA101-14-Q-0030 as a 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 424720 and Product Service Code of category 91 with the small business size standard is 100 employees. 1.REQUIREMENTS: Hines Information Technology Center requires delivery of 4,600 gallons of non-roadway diesel fuel to Building 215, 5th Avenue and Roosevelt Road, Hines, IL 60141 to an underground storage tank. A. Contractor to provide necessary delivery driver and all services to deliver fuel to underground storage tank. B. Delivery shall be made during business hours Monday through Friday between 7am and 4pm. C. With the submission of quotes, Offerors must provide their company Illinois license as a distributor of motor fuel or a supplier of special fuel that may sell dyed diesel fuel. The license must be issued to the Prime Contractor submitting the offer, and not the subcontractor proposed. A technically acceptable offer shall conform to the specifications and requirements as delineated in this combined synopsis solicitation. Failure to submit all requirements information as set forth this solicitation shall be evaluated as unacceptable and/or may result in an Offeror being removed from consideration for non-responsiveness.
