- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-12-G-0006 to the Bell Boeing Joint Project Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111, on a sole source basis to complete the Production and Retrofit Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) required to incorporate an updated RT-1912(C) AN/APX-123(V) Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) onto the MV-22 Osprey aircraft. The new configuration IFF, RT-1912A(C)/APX-123A(V), will require drawing updates, integration testing, and an update to the logistics support products. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort.
