Description
Synopsis: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract. The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Belvoir Division intends to award, on a sole source basis to NIITEK, Inc. of Dulles, VA, a CPFF type contract for the production of one (1) Mine Stalker system with related, technical, test and evaluation, and logistical support to a twelve month Operational Field Evaluation in a post conflict mine environment. Under the proposed action, the contractor shall manufacture one (1) Mine Stalker system identical to the one delivered under Contract W909MY08-C-0046. The proposed action shall also include options for the contractor to support an operational field evaluation and to address deficiencies identified during testing. It has been determined that NIITEK, Inc is the only One Responsible Source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy Agency requirements. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all responsible sources that can provide supporting data to demonstrate they can successfully perform the effort may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. All proposals received within thirty (30) days will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be no longer than ten (10) pages and shall be in a Microsoft Word compatible format. All requests for information must be made in writing to Patrick Colleran, Contract Specialist, at patrick.r.colleran.civ@mail.mil. The subject of the mail message shall be: W909MY-14-R-0002, Your Company's Name. No telephonic inquiries or requests will be honored.
