- This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to issue a negotiated order (CPFF) - Job Order - 0002 for N00164-14-G-GR07 on a sole source basis to Communications & Power Industries, LLC, 811 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, CA 94304-1031 for services and supplies to support the Simplified Driver (SDR) and Continuous Wave Illuminator (CWI) Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs). These supplies and services are required to support the sustainment of the AEGIS Microwave Tube (MWT) program. This order will include: CLIN0001 - GFE Maintenance and Repairs (Labor) for the SDR and CWI MWTs IAW Statement of Work CLIN0002 - GFE Maintenance and Upgrades or New Equipment for the SDR and CWI MWTs IAW Statement of Work CLIN0003 - GFE Upgrade on MTS2 with Labor, Materials and Testing CLIN0004 - Data IAW Statement of Work This Order will be placed in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The period of performance is 365 days. The basis for restricting competition was the lack of sufficient technical data, restricted software rights, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirement through any other source. Since this is a sole source procurement, a solicitation will not be posted to the internet. Responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane. This synopsis is issued to advertise the above requirements for N00164-14-G-GR07-0002 on a cost plus fixed fee basis. The Contractor must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database located at www.sam.gov.
