- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order on contract (N00019-09-C-0019) with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO for production incorporation of an improved cable harness for the AN/ALR-67(V)3 for the United States Navy F/A-18E and EA-18G Programs, and the Royal Australian Air Force AEA-18G Programs. Award of the F/A-18 production contract was made with the authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Boeing is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft. As such, The Boeing Company is the only company with the unique knowledge, expertise, special skills, facilities, manufacturing techniques, and technical data required to complete this requirement.
