- Description
- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Range Systems Department (Code RS10) RS10 has been tasked to develop and integrate the system to communicate with the Electronic Aircraft. In order to meet these requirements, RS10 requires Rockwell Collins UHF/VHF Radio Equipment as follows: Qty 6, Part # 270-3148-032, 721S-3B UHF/VHF Radio 108-174MHz, 225-400MHz R/T; Qty 6 Part #270-3148-062 RCU-710, Internal or External Remote Control, Touch Screen, Full Function; Qty 6 Part #270-3148-151 4 Wire E&M Connect, Qty 2 Part #984-4799-001 Remote Control license; 6 Qty Part #270-3148-340 AC/DC Cables; and Qty 6 Part #270-3148-300 Rack mount slide kit for 19" racks in order to support Pacific Northwest (PACNORWEST) Electronic Warfare Range. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Manager Air (PMA) - 205 has a requirement to instrument a communication system in the Olympic Military Operating Areas to transport audio and data information as part of Growler and Prowler Electronic Aircraft (EA - 18G and EA6B) training. The Government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed price contract to Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(c). This procurement is for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. The associated NAICS Classification is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. No solicitation will be issued but responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or requests for information to Martha O'Donnell at martha.o'donnell@navy.mil or interested parties may inquire by phone at (951) 273-4709. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
