- AMENDMENT TO SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION W58RGZ14R0047: THIS AMENDMENT IS ISSUED TO PROVIDE NOTIFICATION OF THE GOVERNMENT NEED TO ISSUE A FORMAL SOLICITATION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT AT A LATER DATE. AT THIS TIME, THE GOVERNMENT IS SOLELY PROVIDING THE SYNOPSIS OF THIS REQUIREMENT AS DESCRIBED IN THE ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT. ALL INQUIRIES TO THIS SYNOPSIS SHALL BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE SPECIFIED RESPONSE DATE WHICH REMAINS UNCHANGED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W58RGZ-14-R-0047 is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is for the one-time, Life-of-Type buy of P/N SSD-C16GI-4550, NSN 7025-01-620-0455 Compact Flash Memory Cards to support life-of-system field requirements for the Kiowa platform. This is a Sole Source directed purchase from Honeywell International, Inc, Defense Avionics Systems. The requirement is further described as follows: CLIN 0001AA will be issued for one thousand three hundred and ninety two (1,392) each and CLIN 0002AA will be issued for an Option of one thousand (1,000) each of this P/N. The place of inspection, acceptance, and FOB point is Origin - Honeywell International, Inc, Defense Avionics Systems, 9201 San Mateo Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87113-2227. The total required period of performance for CLIN 0001AA and CLIN 0002AA is from date of award through 12 months. Any award resulting from this RFP will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items; Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY WITH THE OFFER, Provision 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions, and Provision 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than 16:00, Local Time, 3 January 2014 in the contracting office, Building 5681, Room 100, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250, to the attention of Elaine Cameron.
