- Market Survey Surface Support Vessel modification to PM2-14-007. MSC requests one (1) vessel which will function as surface support vessel for US East Coast. The vessel will operate in the Western Atlantic in the vicinity of Norfolk, VA. The vessel's primary mission will be to support USN submarine rescue utilizing the NATO Submarine Rescue System (NSRS), US Navy Submarine Rescue Chamber Flyaway System (SRCFS), Assessment Underwater Work System (AUWS), and the US Navy Submarine Rescue Diving and Recompression System (SRDRS) (collectively referred to as "submarine rescue systems").
