- This File contains the Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation Document (includes the Scope/Statement of Work) This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for commercial items issued pursuant to FAR Subpart 12. Under this notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District is issuing a proposal package for consideration of PRICE PROPOSALS from businesses capable of performing the scope of work. The work is for the furnishing, delivery and unloading of asphalt grindings, aggregate materials and geotextile fabric as outlined in the Scope of Work. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is W912P6-14-R-0009. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 327999, with a Small Business size standard of 500 employees. SUBMITTAL DUE DATE AND TIME: The Contractor SHALL provide its proposal package to Kim Beard by no later than 4:00pm CDT on 14 January 2014. Questions will not be answered over the phone. PLEASE ENSURE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER W912P6-14-R-0009 AND PROJECT TITLE IS SHOWN IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL. (2) IN THE CASE OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE DATES PUBLISHED IN THIS NOTICE AND THOSE CALLED OUT IN THE RFP DOCUMENT, THE DATES IN THE RFP DOCUMENT OVERRIDES THOSE PUBLISHED HEREIN THIS NOTICE; THIS IS RELATIVE TO THE RFP ISSUANCE DATE AND THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS.
