- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION NUMBER: W31P4Q14T0046, NOUN: SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL TO AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS (AIP), CLOSING DATE: 06 Jan 2014, email meagan.m.mcgee.civ@mail.mil. The solicitation number is: W31P4Q14T0046, the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-47. The NAICS code is 511120 and small business size standard is 500 employees. The contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure are: CLIN 0001 - AIP 2013 COMPLETE PACKAGE ANNUAL RENEWAL- 1, unit - LO. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired is as follows: One (1) year Renewal of subscription service that provides online access to AIP Complete Package covering a wide range of topics in scientific and technical subjects applicable to the Redstone Arsenal Community. Date of performance is one year from date of contract award. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, is applicable; the specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) are technical capability and price. The evaluation factor technical capability is significantly more important than price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The additional FAR clauses cited at paragraph (b) in the clause and applicable to this acquisition are: clause (21), (24), (25), (26),(27), (28), (29), (30), (40), and (45).
