Description

On December 20, 2013, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) awarded Delivery Order(DO) VA118-14-F-0052 on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) NNG07DA42B to I3 Federal, LLC in the amount of $2,013,821.60 for a 12-month Base Period and one 12-month Option Period. The obligated amount for the base period is 1,219,262.10. The DO was awarded on an exception to fair opportunity basis under the authority of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), 'Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized' (see attached Justification and Approval for an Exception to Fair Opportunity). This effort is for the renewal of 1E brand Power & Patch Management Pack (PPMP), software licenses and the procurement of additional 1E PPMP licenses and maintenance in order to sustain VA Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Enterprise systems management architecture.
