General Equipment Name: Monsoon Jet Ventilator Description & Salient Characteristics The jet ventilator has the capacity to deliver a wide frequency range, from 4 to 1600 breaths per minute. It is to be used in the operating room during one lung ventilation for procedures such as partial or total pneumonectomy. It is also used to supplement normal ventilation when adequate oxygenation is not attainable via conventional means.
