- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912CN-14-T-0021, firm fixed price, Motorola brand name only unrestricted type contract. Solicitation, J&A and all amendments will be posted to ASFI. This solicitation is in accordance with Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c), (FAR13.106-1(b)(1)) The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 334220 Radio & TV Wireless Communications equipment and applicable size standard for this procurement is listed in Block 10 on the face page of the RFQ attached in ASFI Solicitation number W912CN14T0021 - 0000. This is an RFQ for the procurement of six (6) UHF R1 MID Power mobile APX 6000 Motorola radios to conduct mandatory encrypted communications during operations. Quotes are being solicited and a written RFQ is attached in FedBizOpps.gov and ASFI. Please see review the RFQ for additional detail, and other terms and conditions. All questions should be directed to CPT Raven Cornelius at raven.a.cornelius.mil@mail.mil. All offerors proposals shall be submitted in ASFI. Vendor's proposals for this requirement are due no later than 10:00 a.m. HST January 7, 2014. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps.gov and ASFI for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) via https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
