Description
Provision Clause Matrix Limited Source This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for custom-built Kubota diesel generators as referenced in the item descriptions below: Description of item Quantity Required Kubota GL7000 Diesel Generators with receptacles and key switch modification. 6 Electronic fuel pumps plumbed and wired on each generator. 6 Shipping (If not FOB) 1 (LOT) The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed price purchase order to Engine Power Source. A Limited Source Justification is attached. THIS IS A BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT ONLY. Engine Power Source is the only known vendor that can provide these custom-built Kubota Diesel Generators. Specs are included on the Limited Source Documentation. All applicable provisions and clauses, including FAR clauses 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are listed in Attachment 1. All sources shall submit a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3. Award will be based on technically acceptable/price reasonable - for an offeror to be considered technically acceptable, it shall be able to provide the required modified generators referenced above and include any/all discounts that can be afforded the government. All questions and quotes shall be submitted electronically to Ryan.F.Burke@usdoj.gov. The deadline for questions is January 2, 2014 at 11 AM EST. Answers to the questions will be posted as an amendment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The deadline quotes submission is due no later than January 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM EST.
