Description

This is a Sources Sought notice for information only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. In preparation for future procurement, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned small business, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 238210 that can offer the services listed below. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking the procurement of services to provide the below hardware upgrades and installation services for the television distribution network at VAMC Houston, Texas. This service will also require that said contractor provide the skilled, technical manpower to replace current RG-11 cable connectors along with the connected devices in approximately 57 locations throughout the VAMC Houston. The government intends to award a FFP contract. Below is the required supply list: Required Hardware Quantity Amplifier-Trunk 860 MHz 30dB23 Tap 6 db directional couplers16 Tap 9 db directional couplers32 Splitter 8 way 5-900 Mhz20 Splitter 4 way LF 5-9004 Connector RG 6 NSC Compression200 Connector RG 11 Compress Coax125 Connector Femal Splice Barrel200 Wire RG6 Swept 2.5 GHz2000 (The quantities to be used are estimated.)
