- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA has a requirement to procure Flight Termination Safe and Arm (FTSA) devices for the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM) program. This contract effort requires the fabrication, inspection, testing and delivering of Flight Termination Safe and Arm (FTSA) devices to be used as part of a command destruct system in accordance with range safety requirements for missile test and evaluation programs. The FTSA components specified in ARM-0103 support the dual redundant FTS required by range safety. NAWCWD intends to procure a Firm Fixed Price procurement for a minimum of 20 FTSA units for FTSA qualification testing, TM qualification testing, and TM production. An additional maximum 266 units may be purchased on this contract for the entire life of the contract by the AARGM program. Solicitation N68936-14-R-0006 to be issued and posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 16 January 2014. Estimated award date is 30 March 2014. The Government will provide the drawing required for proposal purposes to registered offerors on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov, Non-FBO Secure link. Access is controlled by the System Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov. Delivery requirements shall be F.O.B. Destination China Lake, CA 10 months after award. All responsible sources may submit a written response which shall be considered by the agency. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov and shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications. All responses shall be submitted by email to jessica.r.rodriguez1@navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code 254130D (Jessica Rodriguez), NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV, 429 E. Bowen road, MS 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108 within 15 days from the Notice date.
