Description

The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS), 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, New York intends to issue Invitation for Bid (IB) VA528-14-B-0078 for Fan Wall Retrofit E-Wing. Work will consist of but not be limited to: remove and dispose of supply fans in air handling units, replace fans with fan arrays, make modifications to existing air handling units to facilitate fan replacement, reconnect/re-feed power supply, etc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220 with a size standard of $14.0 Million. The construction estimate for this project is between $250,000. and $500,000. This procurement is set-aside for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Award will be made on a competitive basis to the responsible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business responding to this solicitation in accordance with the solicitation materials. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL: Solicitation materials consisting of provisions, clauses, specifications, drawings, etc. will be available on http://www.fedbizopps.gov in electronic format only. These should be available on or about February 6, 2014. All interested parties (subs & primes) should register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov as an 'Interested Vendor' so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. A bidder's mailing list, list of interested parties WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contract Specialist. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation.
