VA701-14-Q-0069 - Thomson Reuters Web of Science, Social Science Citation Index This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are due by 3:00 PM EST on January 7, 2014. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is VA701-14-Q-0069. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72 effective January 1, 2014. FAR provisions 52.212-1 and addenda, and 52.212.3 as well as FAR clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition. NAICS Code: 519130; size standard: 500 Employees. This is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) to Thomson Reuters (Scientific), Inc., 3501 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The supplier of the services described below meets the Government's requirement. CLIN: 0001 Item: Web of Science, Social Science Citation Index Description: The vendor shall provide the Web of Science, Social Science Citation Index database research platform. DESCRIPTIONQTY Social Science Citation Index1 Period of Performance: is January 11th, 2014 to January 10th, 2015 for a base year, plus four (4) option years, if exercised. Basis of Award: Award will be made if quote is determined to be fair and reasonable and technical approach satisfies the requirement.
