Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Canandaigua, New York will be posting an Invitation for Bid on or about January 21, 2014 for Emergency Power Upgrades, Buildings 3 and 9, Project No. 528A5-14-509. The general scope of this project is for Emergency Power Upgrades, Building 3 & 9, at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, N.Y. Throughout the community living centers at the VAMC, Canandaigua, emergency power supplies to individual rooms are required. Emergency power upgrades on the 1st floor of building 3, and the 1st and 2nd floors of building 9 are required. Currently, power is supplied to service panels on each of these buildings and respective floors. Power from these panels needs to be supplied to individual rooms as shown on the drawings. ALL installation requirements MUST meet NEC, NFPA and VA specifications and standards. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses'. The NAICS code is 238210. The small business standard is $14 M. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the IFB.
