Description
Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Innovative Power Solutions L.L.C. (1M2T3), Eatontown, NJ for the repair of Engine Starters on the AH-1W Cobra Helicopter. NAVSUP WSS plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 27 January 2014. The RFP is anticipated to remain open for 30 days. The intention of this solicitation is to award a Repair Requirements Long Term Contract with a three-year base period and two option years. The following are the Nomenclatures, NSNs, Part Numbers, and estimated yearly repair quantities for the Engine Starters: Nomenclature: Engine Starter NSN: 7R H 2925 016071508 P/N: ES01-20D-2A Year 1: 300 Year 2: 270 Year 3: 257 Year 4: 245 Year 5: 220 Nomenclature: Engine Starter NSN: 7R E 2925 014763224 P/N: 36D831711G4 Year 1: 1 Year 2: 1 Year 3: 1 Year 4: 1 Year 5: 1 The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Innovative Power Solutions. Innovative Power Solutions is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above AH-1W Engine Starters. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336320. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Government Source Approval is required. Only the previously approved source will be solicited for this requirement. Any other interested sources will be required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. A SAR brochure is available upon request. There are neither drawings nor technical data available for these items.
