- The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) - In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures based. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with VSE Corporation, 6348 Walker Lane, Alexandria, VA 22310-3226 for technical support, engineering, data management (DM), configuration management (CM), and quality control support for essential technical programs at the Intelligence, Sensors, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Technology Integration Branch of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. The intended award is for a base year and two (2), one (1) year options for the specific engineering services required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
