Description

Remove and Replace Flooring in 14 Rooms at the Royal C Johnson VA Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove, replace and abate asbestos material for 14 Rooms in Building 1 at the Royal C Johnson, 42501 West 22nd Street, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57105. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-14-Q-1160 for this requirement will be made available to interested SDVOSB contractors by e-mailing the Contract Specialist at kyle.nelson3@va.gov commencing on 8 January 2014 with the Request For Quotes being due on 15 January 2014 by 10:00 AM CST. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. No Organized Site Visit will be held for this project. If a site visit is necessary, the vendor should refer to FAR 52.236-27 of the RFQ for directions. The Period of Performance is 45 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is less than $25,000.00.
