- Market Research Purposes only. The Social Security Administration is seeking sources, either GSA or Open Market, that would be interested in providing no-cost, on-site or off-site destruction services to the Social Security Administration site located at 1150 East Mountain Drive, Wilkes Barre PA 18701. The site generates 8,000-10,000 lbs of Personally Identifiable Information and Confidential Documents weekly. The material is mixed, white paper and Brown, Kraft Folders with prongs, staples and clips intact. No media products. The material shall be shredded using cross-cut methods and shall be no more than 5/16" in size. Destruction of the material may be completed either weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or on an, "as needed" basis. The contractor of record shall retain all revenues generated in exchange for this service. Regardless of whether the shredding is completed on-site or off-site, the contractor shall be required to undergo an extensive security check including fingerprints. The cost of the fingerprinting shall be borne by the contractor of record. The contractor shall be NAID Certified and shall be in compliance with all applicable Environmental Laws. The contractor shall provide lockable storage bins or gaylords to store the material until shredded. All material is located on the site loading dock. No award shall be made from this Special Notice.
