Description: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement for Vertical rails (varying lengths and quantities) for use in the Battery Command Post, as part of the Force Provider Program. The Statutory authority permitting quote mark Other than Full and Open Competition quote mark for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a Supply or Service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources. And no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the Agency's needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a limited basis with Gichner Shelter Systems, Cage Code #29381, 490 E. Locust Street, Dallastown PA 17313-1902, in which a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract will be issued. The FOB point is Letterkenny Army Depot (Destination). Solicitation Number W911N2-14-T-0013 will be released on or about 8 January 2014. All interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
