Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is planning to solicit for a vendor to provide Metered/Pre-sort Mail Service at William S Middleton VA Medical, Madison WI in NCO 12. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center/ VA Madison is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential small business concerns (e.g., HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, Woman Owned, etc.) with the capability to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide mail processing service, utilizing Automation Compatible (Auto), First Class Presort, Full Rate First Class Permit, Presort Flats, Certified, International, Priority/Express, Parcel Post and special standard mail (letter size). Interested parties shall provide a brief overview of their firm's capabilities and past experience with projects similar in scope to this project. All information shall be submitted in Word or PDF format, not to exceed 10 pages, including all attachments and shall be emailed to Michael.Rosenthal@VA.gov. Each submittal shall also include the following business information: a.DUNS number b.Organization Name c.Organization Address d.Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) e.Business size f.Applicable License g.Socio-economic status ( IF SDVOSB or VOSB - provide SDVOSB or VOSB CVE verification) Firms shall identify whether or not they are a small business or other than small business in accordance with the size standard for NAICS code 561431. If another NAICS code may be applicable, please identify the NAICS in your capability statement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 6:00 AM (CST) JANUARY 15, 2014. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 115 South 84th Street - Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1476 or via fax to (414) 844-4891. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
