Description

Naval Audit Service (NAS) requires telephone and upgrade support for 400 perpetual licenses of TeamMate software already owned by NAS. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire the requisite support on a sole source basis from Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, Inc., the owner of TeamMate software. The period of the requirement is from January 22, 2014 through 21 January 2015. TeamMate is a windows-based audit management system. TeamMate is used by NAS to ensure efficiency in the audit process and to better ensure critical audit data and audit workpapers ™ integrity. Audit workpapers ™ integrity is critical to continued compliance with the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). TeamMate converts all aspects of the assignment process, workpaper preparation, review, report generation, and storage into an electronic format, making the project file accessible to multiple users in diverse locations while enhancing quality, productivity and cost effectiveness. Wolters Kluwer Financial Service, Inc. is the owner of the TeamMate software, as such, Wolters Kluwer is the only company with the proprietary rights to manage and maintain the TeamMate software. Therefore, Wolters Kluwer is the only contractor capable of providing the required telephone support and product upgrades for the TeamMate software.
