- This synopsis is for a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The IQC will include one base period and four one-year option periods. Estimated Annual Demand is 69 each. There is a guaranteed minimum of 17 EA for the base year only. Item Description: - IAW BASIC IAW BASIC SPEC NR MIL-DTL-87255A REVISION NR A DTD 10/03/2006 PART PIECE NUMBER: P/N M87255-1 - Inspection/Acceptance: Origin - Critical Safety Item - Life Support Equipment - Higher Level Quality System Required - Contractor First Article Test applies A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System athttps://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. Choose the Request for Proposals (RFP)/Invitation for Bid (IFB) option under Solicitations. Choose the search option, enter the search value, and click the submit button. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation may be provided to the requestors on a case by case basis if access to DIBBS is not available. The solicitation will be available on or around January 29, 2014 to February 28, 2014. Electronic DIBBS offers will not be accepted. The solicitation will be 100% Small business set aside. This solicitation may include provision 52.215-9023 Reverse Auction. To learn more about how to participate in an auction, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA. This solicitation may be issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD clauses 52.247-9059 F.o.b. Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and 52.247-9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). The evaluation factors contributing to the final award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors. These factors will be described in the solicitation.
