Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - 14 January 2014 - Regional Contracting Office, Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center, Twentynine Palms, CA intends to issue a purchase order under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i) (B) to Harris Corporation, on a Firm-Fixed Price Sole Source basis to purchase four (4) HF Full-Loop Antennas, part # RF-3134-AT003. This firm is the sole manufacturer of the Falcon II radio system, including equipment, and related spare parts; no other source will satisfy the Government ™s requirement. The anticipated award date is 17 January 2014. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is available upon request. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
