Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Detroit and Saginaw, Michigan are seeking a Treatment, Storage, Disposal Facility (TSDF) contractor. The Medical Centers generate industrial waste, including but not limited to hazardous waste, dual waste (hazardous and infectious), universal waste, Michigan liquid industrial waste and non-hazardous solid waste. Contractor shall provide in accordance with environmental and transportation requirements; inventory containers of waste, document waste characterization, obtain disposal site approval, package waste, transport waste to the disposal facility and provide reports in accordance with the statement of work. Contractor must have all applicable regulatory required documentation state, such as federal, state and local licenses and permits NO THIRD PARTY BROKERS OR CONSULTANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED. The contract will begin on or about March 1, 2014. Base Period will be from March 1, 2014 through September 30, 2014 with four (4) one year options. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on or about January 31, 2014. RFQs will be due on or about February 19, 2014.
