- LCP UZ LCP TJ LCP KZ Marking Template Branding Template Budget Template Environmental Compliance (IEE) Past Performance Template Solicitation USAID/CAR Regional Mission is issuing a solicitation to qualified offerors for USAID Central Asian Republics' regional activity to be implemented in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The estimated cost of the contract is within the rage from $23,000,000 - $24,500,000. The period of performance is anticipated to be five years, beginning on or about October 1, 2014. This health project is a key component of USAID's Central Asian Republic overall health development program designed to address challenges related to tuberculosis in the region. The purpose of the award is to ensure more effective and more accessible TB diagnosis and treatment for all, including vulnerable populations, so as to reduce the burden of TB and the development of drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB) in Central Asia. Over the past decade that USAID has supported Tuberculosis (TB) Control efforts in Central Asian Republics (CAR), TB morbidity and mortality indicators have significantly improved, with fewer TB cases and fewer deaths, compared to a decade ago. Yet TB still remains a high priority public health threat in all five CAR countries. The geographical focus of the project is primarily Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Specific project sites will be selected in conjunction with government counterparts and USAID, once the award has been made. The project may also include specific activities geared toward supporting a broader regional response for improved TB-related outcomes in the region.
