Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about the week of February 3rd, 2014 to Install Bathroom Vents, Building 104, Project No. 528A6-13-609. Contractor shall completely prepare site and furnish al tools, labor and materials to install bathroom vents in building 104. Work shall include, but not be limited to: 1.Remove the grilles currently in the rooms. 2.Install new grilles in those rooms. 3.Install new exhaust fans in attic space. 4.Install some new catwalk to allow access to the new fans. 5.Connect the new exhaust work to the building controls system. 6.Balance the exhaust system upon completion of work. 7.There will also be some electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm work associated with the main HVAC work. 8.Most of the existing ductwork is to remain; there will be some changes as necessary to connect the new to old work. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses'. The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $14.0 M. The cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
