Description
Pre-solicitation Notice W912DR-14-T-0005: This solicitation will be advertised as a Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). This contract covers the maintenance services as outlined below on the laboratory deionized water systems located in the Laboratory Section at the Washington Aqueduct. This equipment is used for providing contaminant free water used for all laboratory methods. It must be properly maintained and quickly repaired in order to ensure continuation of laboratory operations. The service contract shall include the following: To establish a service, repair, and preventative maintenance agreement for the Washington Aqueduct's deionized water systems located in the Laboratory Section of the Washington Aqueduct (WA) Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plan (WTP). The deionized water system equipment must be properly maintained and quickly repaired to ensure compliance with EPA reagent water quality requirements and for the continuation of laboratory operations. The contractor shall independently provide all parts, labor instrumentation, supplies and equipment for preventive maintenance of the deionized water system. The contractor shall respond to emergency requests within four (4) hours. Responses to all other service requests shall be within twenty-four (24) hours. Contractors may not perform work or incur costs outside the scope of this statement of work without prior approval and authorization from the Government Project Officer.
