Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Contracting; Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services in Kansas City, Missouri. Multiple contracts will be award. The location where services should be within a 6 miles radius of the U.S. Post Office which is located at 300 W. Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO 64108-4318. Site locations should be within ¼ mile of public transportation. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on June 1, 2014 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with service ending (if all options are renewed) on May 31, 2019. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirements for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health Services for male and female Federal offenders includes: Base Year: Estimated number of Inmates = 100 Substance Abuse Treatment Services: Intake Assessments & Report (one per authorized inmate) for 80 inmates = 80 assessments Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 80 = 3,840 units Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 80 = 5,760 units Family Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit) 8 units (per inmate) x 8 inmates = 64 units Transportation = (104 unit per inmate) x 100 inmates = 10,400 units Mental Health Treatment Services: Mental Health Intake Assessment & Report (one per inmate) for 20 inmates = 20 units Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 The request for quotation will be available on or after February 25, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about March 27, 2014. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
