Description

This Synopsis is hereby issued for the anticipated solicitation of the Outdoor Baffle System Construction Renovation of the Small Arms Firing Range (SAFR) located at United States Coast Guard Base Kodiak, AK. The solicitation issue date is anticipated in the month of February, 2014. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Juneau has a requirement for Renovation Construction Services to the existing Base small arms range facility. The scope of the project is to demolish deteriorated existing facility structures and components as well as the construction a new baffle system for the SAFR, construction of new firing lanes and a installation of a HVAC system. Issuance of a solicitation and supporting technical documents will be issued at a later date and time. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued no later than February 30, 2014, at which time the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on FEDBIZOPPS. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This requirement is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
