- Description
- All Interested Parties: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Tucson, Arizona, intends to issue solicitation RFQP06151400010 for the requirements of MEAT ITEMS. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business, FOB Destination. Deliveries must be received by February 18, 2014. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary Tucson, 9300 S. Wilmot Road, Tucson, AZ 85756. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 22, 2014, and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 30, 2014, and award will be made for all or none. The Government reserves the right to decide how payment will be made using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Each offeror is required to complete their presentations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). The System for Award Management (SAM) is online. SAM replaces CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. If you have been using those systems, you should now go to www.sam.gov to find your information. Training tools are available on the SAM website to help you get familiar with SAM. Start by going to www.sam.gov, and then click on the SAM HELP tab. Under User Help you will find the full User Guide as well as Quick Start Guides and Helpful Hints that will help you create an account, migrate your roles, perform updates, and search for the information you need.
