- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Tentative solicitation release date is 21 Feb 14. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete JFSD201214, Maintain Airfield Striping on Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota in accordance with the drawings and technical specifications. The contractor shall perform existing pavement marking removal primarily on the taxiways, by means of water blasting. This will include all of the pavement markings on the runway, landing zones and overruns. The existing markings shall be removed IAW the specs and drawings. The resulting contract will be executed at the Government's discretion. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Work on this contract shall be completed non-stop during daylight hours in the controlled movement area with all on-site work being completed within 20 working days. The total period of performance shall be 45 days, allowing time for material procurement, etc. All work shall be coordinated with Base Operations. A winter exclusion construction period of 1 Oct - 15 May shall apply. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5M. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside. All contractors MUST be registered in the SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) database or their proposal WILL NOT be considered for award. Contractors can obtain further information on the SAM database at the website https://www.sam.gov. This solicitation will only be available by downloading the solicitation and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies or CD-ROMS will be issued.
