- Point of Reference Photos Module Technical Specifications The 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group ( 309 AMARG) located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona is conducting an Industry Day 0900-1200, on 19 February 2014. The purpose of the Industry Day is to obtain industry inputs on alternative engineering methods and materials for constructing aircraft moduling units. These aircraft moduling units must be designed to support either a complete aircraft or major components of aerospace vehicles above ground in long term storage, while subjected to climatic environmental conditions. The mission of the 309 AMARG is the U.S. Air Force Technical Repair Center for reclamation, regeneration, storage and disposal of aerospace assets. The Group is also the Department of Defense's designated site for storage and reclamation of aerospace assets for all of America's armed forces as well as the U.S Coast Guard, federal government aviation branches, and the U.S's foreign allies. This Industry Day will be open to suppliers, designers, and/or manufacturers capable of supporting the engineering and development of a moduling systems that will be cost effective and provide an extended service life for supporting either complete or major aerospace vehicle components. The object of this event is to foster an exchange of ideas, explore industry's capabilities and availability, and explore viable options. Companies interested in attending this event must register in advance of the event and must provide a list of attendees along with all required base access information by the response date. Base level security policy requires that all attendees must be US Citizens and are subject to criminal background checks, wants/warrants checks and driving history checks. There is a limit of 4 attendees per company. This Industry Day is information in nature only and does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposal abstracts. Accordingly, this event is NOT a solicitation and this announcement is not a request for proposal, contract, a promise of a contract, or a commitment of any kind. Attendance at the Industry Day is voluntary and is not required to propose to subsequent announcement of any kind. The 309 AMARG will not provide reimbursement of any cost incurred to participate in this Industry Day. Questions / Registration Information: The Industry Day will be unclassified. All questions must be submitted to Matthew.Word.1@us.af.mil and Breysi.Stephens@us.af.mil no later than 1600 (MST) on 17 February 2014. To ensure access to the installation Attendee List must be faxed to (520) 228-5462 ATTN: SrA Matthew Word and Ms. Breysi Stephens no later than NOON (MST) on 5 February 2014.
