- Description
- This acquisition will provide Information Assurance (IA) Virtual Training Classroom Support for the US Army Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G6. The contractor shall provide project management, course module development, a web portal to host the training and tracking system for the training modules, technical support and support to Army IA symposium and workshops where training materials need to be presented to Army audiences. The contractor shall provide updates to the Government's virtual, interactive online training capability IA Virtual Training Classroom (IAVTC) to train personnel worldwide at their home station using Internet connectivity, Virtual technology for training by students using systems to replicate functionality of the tool in their environment, and web technologies on the use of select IA Computer Network Defense (CND) tools (e.g., scanners, IAVA patch management tools, firewalls, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS), IA self assessment tools), and other IA related subjects as identified by the Government. The login to the courses/site will be Common Access Card (CAC) enabled, with backup capability for login and password. The contractor shall provide the IAVTC and interactive training capabilities that deliver quote mark hands-on quote mark training where the students log on to virtual servers to set up and employ IA tools and to understand IAVA vulnerabilities, assess and define problems, fix the vulnerability, test the fix, and report compliance. The hardware/software must have the ability to teach 600 concurrent students on-line on any training module, with a minimum annual student throughput of 600,000 students. In addition to maintenance on existing specialized training modules, the contractor shall prepare, at a minimum, 3 training packages each year and no more than 6 each year, as determined by the Government.
