Description: The purpose of this amendment is to attach the drawings. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. ************************************************************** The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Acquisitions Service Area, Southern Region, AAQ-510 ATL, College Park, Georgia has a requirement for Roof and Elevator Renovation, Blue Grass Airport, ATCT Facilities, Lexington, Kentucky. This requirement is solely set-aside for Pre-Existing/Qualified Contractors under the Eastern Logistics Service Area Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA). The contract numbers are DTFAEN-11-A-00001 through DTFAEN-11-A-00050. Performance time for the entire project is 120 calendar days from date of award. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238160 “ Roofing Contractors “ Size Standards in Millions “ $14 Million Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2014, 2014 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Blue Grass Airport, 4051 Terminal Dr., Lexington, KY, 40501. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer (Michael.Hollis@faa.gov) no later than Wednesday, February 12, 2014, 2013 at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). The proposal must be sealed and labeled as follows: RFP # DTFAEN-14-R-00007. Proposals are due no later than Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). This RFP is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The estimated construction price if between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
