- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA) The 96th Test Wing (TW), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Eglin AFB, Florida has concluded their market research and intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) services contract to Ampex Data Systems Corporation, 500 Broadway, Redwood City CA 94063-3117. Anticipated award date is the last quarter of 2014. The ordering period will be for a one (1) year base and four (4) option years, under contract #FA2487-14-D-0103. This contract will be for technical engineering support, spare parts, and repair/refurbish/upgrade of Airborne Data Recorders (ADRs) in the existing inventory (Model MiniR700) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). These ADRs are owned and maintained by AFTC and are in support of Department of Defense developmental and operational flight test requirements related to a variety of weapon system platforms. The incumbent contractor developed the software and hardware for these systems, and the software/hardware and test data for the systems are proprietary. The Government does not own a reproducible technical data package to provide to interested parties. The Air Force has no development funding for this procurement. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 334511, size standard 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, as stated in the source sought all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The government will consider all responses received within 15 days of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
