Description

Solicitation Number: VA244-14-R-0321 Notice Type: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5. Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Erie, Pennsylvania Is soliciting offers for a best value procurement for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services. The contractor shall provide all materials and services necessary to meet all requirements as outlined in the performance work statement. A request for proposal, VA244-14-R-0321, will be issued on or about January 22, 2014. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is April 1, 2014 March 31, 2015 for the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. This is a 100% service disabled veteran own small business (SDVOSB) set-aside. SDVOSB concerns must be registered in the Vet Biz Registry as a SDVOSB and have obtained the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) Verification Icon/Seal prior to submitting proposals. Information on the Vet Biz Registry and CVE Verification can be found at http://vip.vetbiz.gov/. SDVOSB concerns must also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Information on SAM Registration can be found at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 621610 with a size standard of $14 Million. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. All responsible SDVOSB offerors are invited to submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
