Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification under N00019-12-C-0112 to The Boeing Company (Boeing), Seattle, WA 98124-2499. This modification is to procure on an other than full and open competition basis P-8A support equipment and maintenance task analysis services to be used for aircraft organizational level maintenance and operational support and inspection, repair and provisioning requirements necessary to perform maintenance at the Navy organizational level down to the Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRA) level. A sole source acquisition will be procured under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This requirement is sole sourced to The Boeing Company, as the original equipment manufacturer and only available source to have the peculiar support equipment and specific maintenance task knowledge needed to meet these requirements.
