Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-14-G-0004 on a sole-source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), Stratford, CT. The anticipated order will be to update SH-60B, SH-60F and HH-60H Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and provide a delivery of data contained within the Sikorsky Aircraft Maintainability System (SAMS) Database. The period of performance is anticipated to be six months from date of contract award. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to SAC in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.' SAC is the prime contractor for the H-60 aircraft and is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise and proprietary technical data required to update and transition this data in a timely and cost effective manner to meet the fleet requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by NAVAIR.
